All questions
Every submission is reviewed manually. Placement, streams, saves, playlist adds, and results are never guaranteed.
How do I submit a track?
Sign in with Google and wait until your account has been approved. Open “Submit Track”, paste a public Spotify track URL, select one or more playlists, choose your credit type and review everything before submitting.
What happens after I submit my track?
Your submission will first appear as Pending while it is reviewed. If it is accepted, the track is added to the selected playlist or playlists and you will normally receive a confirmation email. You can follow the status under “My Submissions”.
Does submitting guarantee playlist placement?
No. Every track is reviewed manually based on quality, playlist fit and available space. Using premium credits or having Founder Priority gives your submission earlier review, but never guarantees acceptance.
How do credits work?
Each selected playlist costs one credit. For example, submitting one track to three playlists costs three credits. Your available free and premium credit balances are shown in the Credits section.
How do weekly credits work?
Approved users can claim free credits once every seven days. Regular users currently receive 1 credit per claim, while Founding Members receive 3. Founders may also claim while their account is still pending.
What is the difference between free and premium credits?
Both credit types can be used to submit tracks. Submissions made with premium credits receive priority review ahead of Founder Priority and regular submissions. Priority review does not guarantee playlist placement.
Can I submit a track to multiple playlists?
Yes. Select every playlist that fits your track. Each selected playlist costs one credit, so make sure you have enough credits before submitting.
When can I start submitting music?
You can submit tracks after your account has been approved. If your account is still pending, the dashboard will show your current waitlist status.
What does Pending, Accepted or Declined mean?
Pending means your track is waiting for review. Accepted means it has been approved and successfully added to the selected playlist or playlists. Declined means it was not selected for placement.
What is the Founding Artist Pass?
The Founding Artist Pass includes permanent Founder status, 50 premium submission credits, Founder Priority and a higher weekly credit claim. Current pricing and availability are shown in the Founder Pass section.
How can I report a bug or suggest an improvement?
First check the “Under Development” section on the homepage to see whether it has already been reported. If it is not listed, send the steps to reproduce it, what you expected, your device/browser and preferably a screenshot. Useful new reports or actionable feedback may be rewarded with free submission credits.
How do I contact support?
Email evgeny@musicbyjae.com or send an Instagram DM to @just_a_evgeny. Include your Google login email and as much relevant information as possible.
What is a JAE Promo Spot?
A JAE Promo Spot is a limited Founder-only reservation for extra promotional review through JAE's extended playlist/network access. Each month has 3 Founder spots. After reserving, JAE discusses the best song with the artist and later pitches it to roughly 100 playlist/network contacts. Reservations open on 1 August 2026 for August 2026, September 2026, October 2026. One independent artist only; label or catalogue packages are not accepted. Streams, saves, playlist adds, placements, and results are never guaranteed.
What does the Founding Artist Pass include?
The pass includes 50 premium submission credits, permanent Founder status, priority review, weekly Founder rewards, 10x approved feedback rewards during Early Alpha, and limited JAE Promo reservation access.
